honey + cheese pastry

pastry-wrapped honey cheese wheel


+/- 10 oz. Brie cheese wheel

3 tbsp. knotweed rosemary infused honey

1/3 cup toasted pecans

1 sheet puff pastry

1 egg

1 tblspn. water


On lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry into a 12” square.

Place wheel in center and top with honey and toasted pecans.

Fold corners of puff pastry one at a time over wheel.

Brush dough with the egg wash (add water to egg and stir).

Transfer to a greased pan.

Bake at 400 deg. F for +/- 20 minutes. 

Carefully transfer baked wheel to a shallow bowl for serving.

Can be frozen ahead of time then baked directly before serving.
